Experience + Advanced Training
I hold a Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) and a B.A. in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis on Dependent Care (Triple Life Span) from Colorado State University.
My Professional Journey
Three Decades of Lifespan Support
For 21 years, I served as the Founder, Executive Director, and Placement Supervisor of Adoption Dreams Come True, a non-profit child placement agency serving families across Colorado. Over the past 30 years, I have counseled hundreds of birth parents, adoptive families, children, and adults through emotionally complex cases, crisis intervention, deep grief, and intricate family dynamics.
Harris Program Fellow
I am honored to have been accepted into the prestigious Harris Fellowship Program (Community-Based track) through the University of Colorado School of Medicine. This advanced fellowship deepens my specialized focus in early childhood mental health, infant mental health, and family-centered community support.
Community Educator + Advocate
Over the years, I have been recognized with honors such as the Woman of Vision Award and Caseworker of the Year, authored a children’s book on family dynamics (Star Child), and served as a guest lecturer at Colorado State University and the University of Denver.
